Dice by PCalc is a physics-based dice simulation designed specifically for tabletop role-playing games. It offers a range of beautiful dice sets in stunning near-photorealistic 3D graphics. The app allows you to roll multiple dice with advantage or disadvantage, along with any modifiers, and the calculations are automatically done for you.

One useful feature is the ability to save named presets, which enables you to quickly roll the attack of your favorite sword or determine the exact amount of damage your bard incurred from those seventeen giant rats. Additionally, when your luck doesn't favor you, you can flick the dice on the screen to simulate its throw.

Not only can you use the existing dice sets but you can also create custom dice by adding text or emojis to their faces, or even import your own images. Furthermore, sharing your custom dice with friends is a breeze.

For convenience, the app supports split screen and slide-over features on iPad, allowing you to have it alongside other RPG apps. It even includes speech synthesis that can read out the list of dice and their results. Additionally, there is a companion Apple Watch app available, ensuring that you always have a D20 on hand. In fact, the app goes a step further and supports Augmented Reality (AR) as well.
